Windows Mobile 7/8 Developer

Windows Mobile 7/8 application developer needed for a short term project (contracting period: 2-3 months)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in software development
• Minimum 1 year experience with Windows Mobile 7/8
• Minimum 1 year experience with .NET
• Excellent knowledge of C# and XAML
• Familiar with relevant MVC design environment
• Experience working in a structured source code management system such as SVN
• Proven technical expertise, can work independently
• In depth knowledge of system and application design, development, test, and documentation standards
• Drive to ask follow up questions clarifying issues
• Contributes to process improvements by recommending system improvements and enhancements as well as improvements to the development process

Responsibilities

• Development, installation and modification of Windows Mobile 7/8 applications
• Working with appropriate levels of management to provide necessary research for business case and cost justification
• Creation and maintenance of project support documentation
• Ensure application design and coding standards
• Work with the QA team to develop and/or review test plans and to solve issues found during test cycles
